Memorial Day and Graduation

We had a really fun Memorial Day. We went down to the beach with friends from our ward and played a friendly game of Volleyball. It was beautiful weather and it felt nice to get out and do something fun. We have such a great ward and have made lots of awesome friends.

The Saturday before Memorial Day, our ward had a progressive dinner for the adults in the ward. It was a decade dinner where each group was either given the 50's, 60's or 70's. You were suppose to come dressed up like that decade and eat food from that decade as well. Jake and I had the 70's. We were looking good!
Is that John Travolta!?

We also went to a baseball game on Memorial Day. The Anaheim Angels were playing the Detroit Tigers. They were going to have fireworks after so that meant we had to stay until the end. Unfortunately the game went to 12 innings with the score still being 0 to 0. The winning run was a walk home with bases loaded. Not even an exciting grand slam or hit or anything! Oh well, the fireworks were great and so was the hot dog and choc. shake!

Tuesday was Maggie's graduation party for her preschool! Me and three other moms from our ward have been doing a home school preschool for over a year now, and it has come to an end. It was a lot of fun, but hard work sometimes. I'm glad that we were able to be a part of the preschool and I now Maggie learned a lot. She is very excited about starting Kindergarten though!
Joshua wanted to be like the big kids! Our future graduate!
